Weekend Wags, Kisses & Chaos 🐶✨

Saturday was BUSY busy at The Dog House…

We kicked things off with Patch, the handsome Springer x Husky who is always a total gent and never misses a chance to be spoiled rotten by his mum from the shop 🄰.

Next up was Amber, the pretty doodle who is lovely in every way… except when it comes to having her face done — absolute nope, thank you very much šŸ˜….

Jen came in for a HUGE transformation after missing a few grooms due to surgery. We’re so glad to have her back — and she made herself very at home in the Valentine’s blanket display, lying in it every chance she got like the queen she is šŸ’–.

Herbie, Siobhan’s favourite Cocker Spaniel (don’t tell the others), was in spreading his usual magic. He gazes deep into her eyes throughout the groom with pure love, endless kisses, and sweet playful energy — honestly, how are we meant to concentrate?! šŸ˜

Then we had Willow, Bonnie’s sister, the Australian Labradoodle with poise, elegance, and serious main-character energy ✨.

Buddy popped in and, as always, was as good as gold. We think we may finally have convinced dad to retire the home haircut scissors — especially near Buddy’s face šŸ˜¬āœ‚ļø.

And of course… Broccoli the rescue Cocker. Completely nuts, crazy crackers, but such a sweet boy at heart. He’s still nervous due to his past, but he’s loved beyond measure here šŸ’œ.

Sunday brought a whole new wave of cuteness…

Daisy, our tiny long-eared princess, came in looking adorable and behaving perfectly as always šŸ‘‘.

Mitto & Mini, the cutest little duo ever — Mitto would literally lick you to death, while Mini is just here for the vibes… but do not touch her lead šŸ˜‚.

Ziggy the Boston Pug came in for a bath and we’ve officially decided we’d like to employ him as shop dog. He was completely at home, loved every second of his pamper, and charmed absolutely everyone šŸ–¤šŸ¾.

Stacy, our long-haired beauty, came in for her groom looking as cute as ever.

And finally, Lenny came in to meet Siobhan so they can start working on building his confidence around grooming again. He’s currently terrified of the environment and being outside his home, but his parents are doing everything they can to support him — and Siobhan refuses to give up on him.

It won’t be an easy or quick journey, and she did nearly lose a finger today šŸ˜‚ā€¦ but nothing puts her off when it comes to helping a dog feel safe.

Another weekend full of love, patience, laughs, and a LOT of fur. Thank you to all our amazing customers (two-legged and four-legged) for trusting us šŸ¾šŸ’œ
