Saturday was BUSY busy at The Dog Houseā¦
We kicked things off with Patch, the handsome Springer x Husky who is always a total gent and never misses a chance to be spoiled rotten by his mum from the shop š„°.
Next up was Amber, the pretty doodle who is lovely in every way⦠except when it comes to having her face done ā absolute nope, thank you very much š .
Jen came in for a HUGE transformation after missing a few grooms due to surgery. Weāre so glad to have her back ā and she made herself very at home in the Valentineās blanket display, lying in it every chance she got like the queen she is š.
Herbie, Siobhanās favourite Cocker Spaniel (donāt tell the others), was in spreading his usual magic. He gazes deep into her eyes throughout the groom with pure love, endless kisses, and sweet playful energy ā honestly, how are we meant to concentrate?! š
Then we had Willow, Bonnieās sister, the Australian Labradoodle with poise, elegance, and serious main-character energy āØ.
Buddy popped in and, as always, was as good as gold. We think we may finally have convinced dad to retire the home haircut scissors ā especially near Buddyās face š¬āļø.
And of course⦠Broccoli the rescue Cocker. Completely nuts, crazy crackers, but such a sweet boy at heart. Heās still nervous due to his past, but heās loved beyond measure here š.
Sunday brought a whole new wave of cutenessā¦
Daisy, our tiny long-eared princess, came in looking adorable and behaving perfectly as always š.
Mitto & Mini, the cutest little duo ever ā Mitto would literally lick you to death, while Mini is just here for the vibes⦠but do not touch her lead š.
Ziggy the Boston Pug came in for a bath and weāve officially decided weād like to employ him as shop dog. He was completely at home, loved every second of his pamper, and charmed absolutely everyone š¤š¾.
Stacy, our long-haired beauty, came in for her groom looking as cute as ever.
And finally, Lenny came in to meet Siobhan so they can start working on building his confidence around grooming again. Heās currently terrified of the environment and being outside his home, but his parents are doing everything they can to support him ā and Siobhan refuses to give up on him.
It wonāt be an easy or quick journey, and she did nearly lose a finger today šā¦ but nothing puts her off when it comes to helping a dog feel safe.
Another weekend full of love, patience, laughs, and a LOT of fur. Thank you to all our amazing customers (two-legged and four-legged) for trusting us š¾š
