Best Friends, First Grooms & A Very Exciting Launch 🎉🐶

Today gave us one of those days that just makes your heart full.

We welcomed Oscar the Labrador, who turned 15 yesterday — happy birthday to this absolute legend! Oscar was every bit the old gent we adore: tail wagging, good as gold, and very happy to take plenty of sit-down breaks throughout his groom. He finished his visit with a well-earned cheeky camel skin treat, which he thoroughly enjoyed. We could all learn a thing or two from Oscar’s pace of life.

Joining him was Duke the Cockapoo puppy, just 16 weeks old, and somehow these two became instant best friends. Duke is a confident, lovable little soul who adored cuddles and kisses and wasn’t bothered by a single thing. He took everything in his stride and absolutely smashed his first ever groom, leaving completely transformed and looking very pleased with himself.

After all the excitement, playtime and treats, Duke was more than ready for a big nap — and so proud of himself too. It was an absolute pleasure meeting Duke and his mum, and we already can’t wait for his next appointment.

We also officially launched our new e-gift cards today, which can be used towards grooming services or in The Dog House shop — perfect timing if you’re stuck for gift ideas or fancy treating someone (or their dog!).

And finally… the farm is back open tomorrow 🎉 We’re really looking forward to seeing some familiar faces passing the window again — and maybe even treating ourselves to a sneaky ice cream.
